IDR is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in north Metro Atlanta. This role involves supporting the procurement of technology-related assets. The organization is committed to efficient financial management and procurement processes to serve multiple departments.
Position Overview for the Acquisitions Analyst:
- Assist the Acquisitions Supervisor with sourcing and procurement activities for technology items such as hardware, software, and network equipment.
- Manage and process acquisition requests submitted by various departments, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- Maintain databases and records related to procurement activities and budget verification.
- Reconcile and validate financial data, analyze procurement records, and ensure compliance with legal and reporting standards.
- Support invoicing, budget justifications, and day-to-day procurement operations.
Requirements for the Acquisitions Analyst:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent of two years of experience.
- A strong grasp of financial principles, including budgeting and cost analysis.
- Experience in technology acquisitions, including familiarity with sourcing and procurement processes.
- Ability to communicate tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and department representatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Microsoft 365 applications.
