IDR is seeking an Application Developer 2 to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is within a government agency, focusing on full-stack development for web applications that enhance public safety initiatives. The position offers an exciting chance to work on impactful projects in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Position Overview for the Application Developer 2:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications supporting the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.
- Translate business and functional requirements into secure, maintainable, and scalable code using C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
- Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other developers to support existing applications and develop new solutions.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to security and compliance standards.
Requirements for the Application Developer 2:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with web application development using C# and .NET.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Familiarity with MVC architecture, web services, and JSON.
