IDR is seeking a BI Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role involves partnering with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements for Business Intelligence solutions, supporting system enhancements and reporting initiatives. The position offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic organization with a focus on data-driven decision-making and system improvements.

Position Overview for the BI Business Analyst :

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for new systems and improvements.
• Translate business needs into detailed requirements, including process flows, use cases, and technical specifications.
• Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for enhancement in data structure, reporting, and system functionality.
• Facilitate communication between business teams and technical resources to ensure project alignment and scope clarity.
• Support testing, implementation, and post-deployment validation efforts to ensure successful adoption of solutions.

Requirements for the BI Business Analyst :

• Knowledge of business analysis practices, requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working with business intelligence data ingestion, data replication, and data warehousing environments.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data querying to support analysis and validation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to document requirements, processes, and decisions clearly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage diverse stakeholders and translate technical findings into business language.
