IDR is seeking a CAPPS Enterprise Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role is pivotal in supporting the CAPPS Program within a public sector organization focused on enterprise technology solutions. The position involves leading digital transformation initiatives, ensuring system and data integrity, and providing strategic architectural guidance for large-scale projects.
Position Overview for the CAPPS Enterprise Architect:
- Performing highly advanced (senior-level) consultative services and technical assistance work related to supporting the CAPPS Program.
- Responsible for the Enterprise Technology Vision and Strategy, aligning systems, data, and platforms with organizational goals.
- Providing architectural leadership for digital transformation, cloud migrations, modernization, and large projects.
- Working with vendor partners to identify architectural risks and ensure security, scalability, and integration standards are met.
- Leading the CAPPS Technology Operations section, setting a clear vision, managing technical issues, and coordinating technical activities across internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements for the CAPPS Enterprise Architect:
- 20+ years of extensive Texas public sector experience, directly supporting or working for a Texas state government agency.
- 20+ years of experience performing technical activities in support of CPA application systems.
- 20+ years of experience creating and managing strategic roadmaps with strong planning, technical insight, and communication skills.
- 10+ years of experience managing outsourced technical teams and overseeing Managed Services providers.
- 10+ years of experience preparing presentations for executive-level audiences.
