IDR is seeking a Citrix Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity! This role offers a challenging environment where the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and designing complex Citrix virtualization environments within a dynamic IT organization. The company operates in the technology solutions industry, focusing on enterprise-level virtualization and cloud services.
Position Overview for the Citrix Engineer:
- Administer and maintain various Citrix environments, including virtualization, DaaS (Citrix Cloud), App Layering, and StoreFront sites
- Manage Netscaler appliances in a GSLB configuration and troubleshoot related network services
- Develop and update documentation for configurations, standards, and procedures within the Citrix environment
- Support Windows Server systems (2019 and 2022), including OS and application deployment
- Collaborate with application teams to deploy, troubleshoot, and update applications
Requirements for the Citrix Engineer:
- 6+ years of Systems Administration experience required
- 4+ years of experience with Citrix virtualization products
- Managing Citrix Netscalers is essential
- Experience with Windows Server 2019 and 2022 is required
- Proficiency with PowerShell and Python scripting for automation is preferred
