IDR is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves working within a dynamic team to transform and enhance healthcare data analytics capabilities using cloud solutions. The organization is a leading provider in the healthcare industry, focusing on data-driven decision-making and analytics modernization.
Position Overview for the Cloud Data Engineer:
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to design and implement cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
- Facilitate discussions and strategies around data architecture, technology implementation, and best practices.
- Support ongoing efforts to improve data analytics and prepare for future AI and Gen AI initiatives.
- Work primarily with platforms such as Snowflake, Power BI, and SAS to manage ETL/ELT processes.
- Contribute to the analytics transformation of healthcare data systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare and government standards.
Requirements for the Cloud Data Engineer:
- 7+ years of experience with data warehouse, data lake, and analytics implementations.
- Proven experience with Power BI, SAS, and Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Change Data Capture (CDC).
- Experience integrating with online transaction databases.
- Preferred cloud platforms: AWS and Azure, with GCP exposure as a plus.
