Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data Integration Engineer:
- Design, build, and maintain data integrations using flat files and APIs (JSON format)
- Translate technical specifications and data flow diagrams into scalable integration solutions
- Facilitate secure and accurate data exchange into and out of an enterprise data warehouse
- Work with data sets related to eligibility, billing, and reporting
- Support integrations involving SSO, EDI, HL7, and custom formats
- Maintain Databricks workflows and participate in Agile ceremonies
- Collaborate with team members working primarily in the Central Time Zone (CT)
Required Skills for Data Integration Engineer:
- Strong hands-on experience building data integrations (API and flat file based)
- Exposure to healthcare data exchange standards such as EDI and HL7
- Proficiency with Databricks and PySpark workflows
- Familiarity with eligibility and billing data
- Experience working in Azure data environments
- Skilled in Agile/Scrum delivery practices
- Understanding of JSON-based APIs and secure file transfers
