IDR is seeking a Desktop Support to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Tampa, FL. This role involves supporting network printers as part of a special project to update SMTP settings on a large number of devices within a dynamic organization, focusing on efficient support and team collaboration.
Position Overview for the Desktop Support :
- Provide technical support for network printers and related infrastructure.
- Assist in the configuration and modification of printer admin settings via IP access.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Support the transition of SMTP settings for approximately 2500 printers.
- Work within a project timeline, utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
Requirements for the Desktop Support :
- Experience supporting network printers from various manufacturers such as HP, Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, Brother, Lexmark, Konica Minolta, etc.
- Proficiency in logging into printer web interfaces and modifying network settings, firmware, SMTP, and address books.
- Familiarity with printer admin settings and IP address connectivity.
- Ability to work within a team environment and meet weekly performance metrics.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced project setting with minimal supervision.
