Gemini is looking for an adaptable and driven HR Generalist to join the team at our location in Cannon Falls, MN! This position is responsible for supporting daily human resources operations and serves as a point of contact for team members and leadership on HR-related matters. With guidance, the position will support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, leaves of absence, and HR policy implementation to meet business needs and support the Gemini culture. . Wage Range: USD $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per Year
Location: Cannon Falls, MN
Type: Full Time – On-site
Schedule: 5/8 hour days (Monday through Friday)
Travel: 5 to 10%
A day in the life of a HR Generalist at Gemini includes:
- Administer day-to-day HR operations and team member support.
- Partners with internal customers on staffing and workforce planning needs.
- Facilitates the hiring of talent through posting requisitions, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding activities.
- Responds to needs pertaining to training, employee benefits, leave management, performance reviews, compliance documents, and other general HR issues.
- Supports employee relations, conflict resolution, and the corrective action processes.
- Aids in leave management, accommodations, and workers’ compensation procedures.
- Works within systems to maintain records, enter data, and ensure HRIS data accuracy.
- Assists with payroll coordination and benefits administration.
- Helps develop and updates HR policies and procedures.
- Prepares HR reports, metrics, and documentation.
- Completes special projects and assists with the coordination of company events.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as Company safety and quality rules and regulations
- Displays a continuous improvement driven mindset and actively participates in continuous improvement projects.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems and high level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Suite of Products.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to work with people at all levels within the organization and deliver timely results.
- Ability to travel as needed to support recruiting and team functions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 to 5 years of HR experience
- Willing to consider internship experiences in Human Resources
Preferred Qualifications
- Recruiting background
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS system
- Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand system
- Knowledge of HR programs and leave management administration
- History working in a manufacturing industry
