IDR is seeking an IT Application Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Rochester, Minnesota. This hybrid position involves supporting clinical applications within a hospital or healthcare environment. The role offers the chance to work with healthcare software solutions, clinical workflows, and healthcare interface engines.
Position Overview for the IT Application Analyst:
- Support and maintain clinical applications in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize software solutions.
- Ensure healthcare privacy and security requirements are upheld, including HIPAA compliance.
- Assist in integrating EHR systems and clinical interfaces such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Provide support for telehealth or virtual care platforms and contribute to clinical workflow improvements.
Requirements for the IT Application Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience supporting clinical applications in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Experience working with vendor-supported healthcare software solutions.
- Understanding of clinical workflows in inpatient settings.
- Knowledge of healthcare privacy and security requirements, including HIPAA.
