IDR is seeking a PowerBI Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role is focused on designing and delivering advanced business intelligence solutions in a dynamic environment, supporting agency-wide data-driven decision-making. The company operates within the public sector, emphasizing data visualization and analytics to improve organizational insights.

Position Overview for the PowerBI Developer:

• Responsible for architecting and delivering comprehensive business intelligence and data visualization solutions.
• Builds complex data models, develops interactive dashboards, and transforms data into visual narratives for diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable reporting solutions that enhance visibility and usability.
• Applies at least 4 years of hands-on Power BI experience and demonstrates the ability to perform highly complex technical work independently.
• May lead projects or guide other team members, contributing to innovative BI strategies.

Requirements for the PowerBI Developer:

• At least 8 years of experience transforming complex datasets into performant data models.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience designing and delivering advanced Power BI solutions, including semantic models and DAX calculations.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• At least 2 years of experience managing Power BI workspaces, gateway configuration, scheduled refreshes, and data security.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable reporting solutions and validate the accuracy, performance, and logic of Power BI reports.
