IDR is seeking a Scrum Master to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role involves facilitating agile teams within a fast-paced organization, ensuring adherence to Scrum practices, and fostering continuous improvement. The position offers an exciting chance to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment focused on delivering quality software solutions.
Position Overview for the Scrum Master:
- Facilitate the effectiveness of scrum teams within a specific business value stream.
- Remove impediments and ensure Scrum processes are followed in line with agile values and principles.
- Support team activities such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
- Leverage data to forecast team velocity and support sprint goal planning.
- Foster an environment of cross-functional collaboration, trust, and open communication.
Requirements for the Scrum Master:
- Must be well organized and systematic in work processes, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment and guide team toward empowerment and self-decision-making.
- Must have strong leadership skills and experience managing distributed Scrum teams.
- Thorough understanding of agile software development values, principles, and practices.
- 3+ years of Scrum Master experience.
