IDR is seeking a SDET to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN or Dallas, TX. This role offers the chance to work on full-stack development projects in a dynamic environment, focusing on test automation, API development, and web UI enhancements within the technology sector. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and improving existing applications with modern technologies.
Position Overview for the SDET:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for UI and REST APIs using Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, and TestNG
- Migrate existing Node.js applications to TypeScript to improve code quality, safety, and consistency
- Design, build, and optimize backend services and REST APIs
- Collaborate with QA, product, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery of releases
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application, API, and integration issues leveraging strong problem-solving skills
Requirements for the SDET:
- Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium, Java, Rest Assured, and Web UI automation tools
- Proficiency in coding across multiple languages including Java, JavaScript, and SQL
- Experience in designing automated test frameworks and scripts for UI and APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Bamboo, GitHub, and source code management with Bitbucket
- Knowledge of Cloud Testing, mobile automation, and Docker source code management
