IDR is seeking a Social Content Designer + Editor to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Illinois. This role offers part-time, flexible hours and is focused on creating engaging, trend-forward social media content that elevates brand presence across various platforms. The position requires a creative professional skilled in visual storytelling, editing, and social media trends.
Position Overview for the Social Content Designer + Editor:
- Design social-first templates and assets for platforms including Instagram (Stories, Reels, in-feed)
- Capture and edit photo and video content optimized for social media channels
- Deliver high-quality, narrative-driven video edits that align with brand tone and aesthetic
- Collaborate with social and creative teams to develop, storyboard, and refine content concepts
- Experiment with emerging trends, motion design, and animation to keep content fresh and relevant
Requirements for the Social Content Designer + Editor :
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects preferred)
- 3-5 years of social media editing experience
- Comfortable both shooting and editing short-form content
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual composition, typography, and color
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
